The Jakarta Struts Framework an Apache Project

Start-up consultancy and training in Jakarta Struts: developing high performance applications using the J2EE requires the use of a solid Model View Controller or Model 2 architecture. Having spent a considerable period researching the available frameworks, Shared Skills has selected Jakarta Struts as the most appropriate framework. We offer an extensive set of services to bring your team up to speed in the use of Struts, or we can develop the entire application for you.

The Jakarta Struts framework facilitates the development of applications architectures based on the Model 2 approach, a variation of the classic Model-View-Controller (MVC) design paradigm. Struts provides its own Controller component and integrates with other J2EE technologies (EJB, JDBC, JSP, Servlets, XSL etc.) to provide the Model and the View.

Experience
The Struts framework is relatively new, Shared Skills have been working with it since early 2001. Our latest project has been to build an extensive Project and Programme Management system (eProgramme Office) with over 100 different interactive screens. Using Struts has enabled us to deliver a first class product in very short timescales. If you would like more information on the development of this product then please contact us at techinfo@sharedskills.com

If you would like to discuss any of these options, please contact us as sales@sharedskills.com. Alternatively, if you have a technical query, try support@sharedskills.com, our development team are always keen to help.
